Clever Tips To Maximize Kitchen Storage

I can relate to the frustration of a cluttered kitchen but do not worry. I'm here to guide you through some ingenious ways to maximize your kitchen storage and turn it into that place of efficiency and style you crave. It goes without saying that a well-organized kitchen looks fantastic and makes your life a whole lot easier.

Embrace Vertical Storage

Think beyond the cabinets and utilize vertical space. Install floating shelves to display stylish dinnerware or hang pots and pans from a ceiling rack. Vertical storage adds a chic aesthetic and frees up precious cabinet space. I am a big fan of open shelving, and it's a great space saver when cabinets and drawers are limited. Not only is it attractive, but it also keeps you organized because you see it!

Drawer Dividers and Inserts

Drawers can quickly become a chaotic mess. Invest in drawer dividers and inserts to create designated spaces for utensils, cutlery, and kitchen tools. This keeps things neat and makes it easier to find what you need in a pinch. I know this sounds like an obvious tip, but keep it clear of clutter by tucking those rarely used items in a storage bin and out of the drawers ( I see you, strawberry de-stemmer).

Pull-Out Pantry

If your kitchen lacks a dedicated pantry, consider installing pull-out pantry shelves. These nifty additions can be discreetly tucked away between cabinets and provide ample space for your pantry essentials. No more rummaging through overstuffed shelves!

Utilize Cabinet Doors

Pay attention to the insides of cabinet doors. Mount spice racks, hooks, or a corkboard to keep notes and recipes handy. It's a clever way to use every inch of space available. I have hooks on the cabinet under my sink to store my gloves. It's a simple hack, but it keeps them out of the way and allows them to dry quicker.

Clear Containers and Labels

I know baskets are cute, but opt for clear containers to store dry goods like pasta, rice, and snacks. Not only does this make it easy to see what you have, but adding labels ensures everything has its designated home. A well-labeled kitchen is an organized kitchen.

Organizing anything is always a personal task; while these are good tips, ensure you incorporate what works for you and make it easy to maintain. Kitchen storage can get out of control quickly (guilty), but with a few hacks to stay on top of it all, you'll make much better use of your space and time.
